Texas Car Accident Statute of Limitations

If you are involved in a car accident, motorcycle accident, bicycle accident, or a pedestrian personal injury accident you need to bring an action in court within two years. The limitation can vary depending on the type of harm you suffered. For instance, actions against public employees or other government agencies must be brought within 6 months from the accident date.  If you do not bring an action within the specified time you can fine your action is statue barred.  Time is of the importance.
